Syed Sohaib Ul Hassan is a dynamic trainer, passionate teacher and marketing professional with more than 8 years of award winning corporate experiences. He is currently serving as Manager Brands and Digital at Amreli Steels and is honored for possessing hardcore Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Corporate Communications and Trade Marketing experiences with leading brands of Pakistan including Amreli Steels, Kenwood, Homage and The Indus Hospital (TIH).
During his short span of corporate career Sohaib has bagged 2 in a row Pakistan Advertiser Society’s (PAS) , 4 Effie and 6 PDA Awards. He is also recommended by 20+ diverse industry professionals and has more 40,000 followers on LinkedIn.
Sohaib is privileged to be from the pioneering batch (MBA’14) of one of the leading business schools of Pakistan i.e. Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL). He has also served as founding General Secretary of KSBL’s Alumni Council for 3 years. Prior joining to KSBL, Sohaib has done his BBA in 2012 from SZABIST, Karachi from where he graduated as a corporate Gold Medalist and was also one of the founding members of SZABIST Students Council (SSC) back in 2009. Sohaib is a “Google Ads certified” marketer from Google Skillshop and holds a Golden certificate from “Digital Defynd”. He is also 1st position holder in Digital Marketing from (IBA) Sohaib has taught/ trained more than 3,000 students and Industry professionals with outstanding evaluations.
He has been associated as Adjunct faculty of Marketing and Media at KSBL and SZABIST. He has been teaching since 7+ years and during his tenure as visiting faculty he had taught courses including marketing management, brand management, advertising, strategic management, Strategic marketing, Supply chain management, inventory & logistics management and managerial role in organizations at IQRA, Indus University and IBA- CICT. He has also introduced and is co-teaching rigorous courses of digital communication strategy and media buying and planning specially designed for KSBL MBA/ EMBA students along with international faculty member and a senior media leader.
Sohaib has conducted various training/ workshops for corporate professionals on topics including digital marketing, brand communication, media planning, leadership, effective use of LinkedIn for personal branding, employer branding on LinkedIn, motivation at workplace, entrepreneurship and effective communication skills. He is also humbled and honored for frequently being invited as panelist in seminars or as guest speaker in top universities of Pakistan including SZABIST, DHA Suffa, KU, NED and IBA.
Sohaib is a life-long learner who firmly believes that learning should never stop till one is alive. To keep his training skills and teaching knowledge up to date, he keeps on attending various executive education programs. He has gone through numerous executive education programs on marketing and management including but not limited to “Marketing Essentials” by Dr. Farrah Arif (Founder, EdTechWorx and Professor of Marketing at LUMS) and “Envisage Self” by certified trainers form McKinsey and Co. held at Engro Leadership Academy (ELA) in KSBL, Train the Trainer (TTT-Values) by Carnelians and Annual Media Greet by Tensports in Thailand.
