Dr. Tariq Basheer is a Professor for Accounting & Finance at KSBL. He has a long and distinguished record of academic scholarship, educational leadership, and commercial experience.
In his academia experience, he has taught at several leading international universities and has served as a visiting faculty at many European institutions as a guest speaker and lecturer. He has also designed impactful academic curriculums and training programs.
Dr. Basheer has served as a consultant in globally existing commercial and non-profit organizations, including Blockbuster, Woolworths, Austin Reed and Ford. Furthermore, he also played a vital role in boosting businesses in Eastern Europe as they transitioned from a controlled to a free market economy. He has also set up the Finance Research Centre in Corporate Performance to elevate the Return on Investment and improve human performance in organizations, and he has provided various solutions in the areas of accounting and management.
He is also a part of McGraw Hill institute as an author and a book reviewer. His current interests lie in the application of behavioral science to business and public policy decision-making as well as Chinese philosophy and business management.
Dr. Basheer completed his Ph.D. from Washington University, United States of America and M.Sc. from London School of Economics & Political Science, United Kingdom.
