Job Responsibilities:

As an Admissions Officer, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the admissions process and engaging with prospective students. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining detailed records of all visitors and incoming calls, ensuring comprehensive documentation for future follow-up.
• Serving as the initial point of contact for walk-in visitors, guiding them through the enrolment process and assisting with applications via our Admission Portal.
• Managing various administrative tasks related to admissions, including maintaining logs of giveaways, coordinating admission tests, and arranging open houses.
• Providing prompt and courteous assistance to callers on the Admissions landline number.
• Proactively following up with sign-ups and potential leads, guiding them through the application process, and converting them into final applicants.
• Responding promptly and professionally to inquiries received via email and official WhatsApp channels.
• Conducting outreach activities at colleges to promote our undergraduate programs and engage with prospective students.
• Organizing and conducting presentation sessions, events, and education fairs at various educational institutions and events.
• Assisting in the admissions process, including reviewing applications, verifying documents, scheduling tests and interviews, and issuing offer letters.
• Collaborating with internal departments to compile test results and coordinate fee invoicing for admitted candidates.
• Following up with admitted candidates, guiding them through the enrolment process, and ensuring a seamless transition to confirmed students.
• Undertaking any additional tasks assigned within a similar capacity.

Requirement:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience in admissions, student recruitment, or related roles of at least 1-2 years.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Position Overview:

The Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) seeks an experienced professional to lead the development and management of strategic external partnerships, fostering collaborations that enhance academic programs, research, executive education, and career services. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting KSBL’s reputation and expanding its network.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academic institutions, industry partners, and organizations in the public and private sectors.
2. MOU Development and Implementation: Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and execute Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), ensuring alignment with KSBL’s strategic objectives.
3. Event Management: Design and execute high-profile events, conferences, and seminars, showcasing KSBL’s expertise and fostering meaningful connections.
4. Research Collaboration: Facilitate research partnerships, identifying opportunities for joint projects, grants, and publications.
5. Career Services and Alumni Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage alumni, industry partners, and career services, enhancing student employability and alumni networks.
6. Marketing and Communications: Work closely with marketing teams to promote KSBL’s partnerships, events, and research collaborations.

 

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6-8 years of experience in partnership development, event management, marketing, or a related field
• Excellent communication, networking, and project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to evolving circumstances

Qualification & Experience:

1. Ph.D. in above-stated area of relevance
2. Experience with or willingness to develop case studies
3. Good command of case method teaching, simulations and other innovative pedagogies
4. Experience teaching relevant units/courses at the postgraduate level and in executive education programs
5. Assistant Professor – 4 years of teaching experience
6. Associate Professor – 7-10 years of teaching experience with at least 10 research papers in HEC recognized journals
7. Professor – 15 + years of teaching experience with at least 15 research papers in HEC recognized journals
8. Practical field experience in applications of such skills (such as consultancy or on-job assignments) will be highly valued
