KSBL students recently arranged the annual Simerge event.
Sponsored by Engro and hosted by KSBL Students, the three-day contest was culmination of case studies and international business simulations and insightful speaker sessions. The interactive live speaker sessions were conducted by C-Suite executives, accomplished senior practitioners and KSBL faculty. Mr. Ghias Khan, President, and CEO of Engro Corporation was the Keynote Speaker at the event. Drawing from his instrumental role in revamping Engro’s strategy, culture, and global outreach, Mr. Ghias shared how digitization is set to impact businesses at all levels. The Simerge Connect speakers included Ehsan Saya (Managing Director, Daraz Pakistan), Salman Chaudhry (CEO, Empiric AI), Atyab Tahir (Country Head, Master Card) among many others.
Mr. Mubashar Hameed, Rector KSBL shared in his opening note how its important to empower the leaders of tomorrow. He appreciated how the event was being conducted virtually for the first time, by leveraging technology and innovation, and empowering the youth to search for solutions.
All sessions, simulations and activities were conducted online with participation of students from different academic institutions and working professionals from across the country.
