Dr. Shazib Shaikh

Dr. Shazib Shaikh is an Associate Professor of Decision Sciences at KSBL. He has over a decade of experience in executive education at LUMS and corporate executive courses.

He has directed and taught various executive courses including Data-Savvy Decision-Making at Coca Cola, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, Retail Management, IT-based Change Management at Telenor and Tameer Microfinance joint venture: easypaisa, Executive Development at Ufone and Agri-business Management at Nestle.

He has also worked on various consultancy projects for Telenor, Mantaq Systems, Coca Cola Beverage Pakistan Limited, Naseeb Networks and AdSells. More recently, he documented the roll-out and implementation of big data analytics in Punjab IT Board’s dengue program and demonstrated dashboard analytics for more efficient geo-analytical disease prevention audits.

Dr. Shaikh has completed his Ph.D. in Informatics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom (UK) and was initially sponsored by B2BNet who acquired the rights to the technology he developed during his master’s for scalable and flexible web application architecture. He remained a software developer for them until his study got funded by a prestigious UK Overseas Research Scholarship.
