Job Brief

Establish and maintain robust financial and accounting systems, policies and procedures, develop financial planning and budgeting processes, design and monitor reliable control systems, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.

Major Responsibilities

  • Promote the financial well-being of KSBL by providing budget management, monitoring appropriate investments of temporary cash balances, exercising executive control over KSBL's budgets, and safeguarding all financial assets of the School.
  • Advise the Head of the Institution (Rector), senior administration officers, and members of the Board of Governors on issues pertaining to the financial status of KSBL, reporting financial information at Board of Governors meetings by preparing reports, recommendations, findings, and other correspondence as required.
  • Ensure compliance with professional accounting standards, rules, regulations, and laws by directing, supervising, and facilitating the preparation and maintenance of required and appropriate financial records, monthly and annual financial reports, and all other financial reporting as may be required by federal and local agencies, or established accounting standards.
  • Develop financial models to reflect complete cash flow management.
  • Prevent institutional liability in financial operations by facilitating the access of the independent auditors to requested records during the KSBL's annual audit.
  • Ensure compliance with the institutional mission by working with different department heads to develop and review department plans, goals, and budgets, assuring development of effective business processes incorporating automation with appropriate technologies, designing systems of effective controls to guide work toward expected outcomes, and evaluating progress towards their accomplishment.
  • Enables division employees to perform their assigned tasks by overseeing the preparation and implementation of the annual budget for Financial Services.

  • Implement a career centric strategic plan, including short and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with industry and all the related stakeholders.
  • Help students identify employment options that match their career interests.
  • Assist students and alumni in all aspects of the job search including resume writing, interviewing techniques and job referrals.
  • Supervise the acquisition, maintenance, and dissemination of information regarding career fields, employment opportunities, and specific employers for full-time, part-time, internship and work-study opportunities.
  • Assist in execution of CEO Mentorship and Alumni Mentorship Programs, designed to equip students with necessary job skills and employment preparation strategies.
  • Market Career Planning services and programs to business and industry, as well as non-profits and internal constituencies, by developing programs, targeting mailings and e-mailings, attending promotional events, presenting information and workshops at various business functions.
  • Develop and design student graduate directory and disseminate it across all industries.
  • Maintain employer/alumni database.
  • Oversee all alumni and students related activities and events on campus.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's Degree with minimum 10 years of experience in, or related to, career planning and employment services, including direct career counseling to students
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating collaborative relationships with students, faculty, staff, and professional colleagues.
  • Understanding and use of current educational practices in career services
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a team player.
  • Ability to relate to a diverse student population.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (writing, listening, speaking)
  • Ability to work independently and follow-through on assigned tasks.

Job Summary

  • To ensure seamless execution of day to day academic activities pertaining to students.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage records of students and make sure its regularly updated.
  • Responsible for all day to day student services operations and ensure everything is running smoothly.
  • Prepare student materials from orientation to their daily material needs.
  • Responsible to prepare term schedule in line with faculty members.
  • Responsible for maintaining records of visiting faculty contracts, process their payments (such as accommodation, air travel, or any other entitlements).
  • Tabulate faculty evaluations by the end of a course and provide reports to the reporting authority.
  • Act as a liaison between administration and students. Communicates all the necessary information to students related to their courses, schedules, etc.
  • Verifies data regarding student attendance and grades to eliminate chances of any errors.
  • Supervise seamless exam invigilation.
  • Responsible to carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the management.
